What other Rear-Wheel Drive cars do they make that are light and sporty?

Trying to figure out what other cars can accept the F20C S2000 engine...any ideas guys?

My choice would be a TA23 Celica (2.0 litre '77 coupe - not the RA23 liftback). A friend just finished his with a 6cyl turbocharged Toyota engine - the thing is hot. A NA S2000 engine would be fantastic.

sigh - I remember back to the days of my 3T-GTE (1800 twin cam, twin sparkplug, fuel injected, 14psi boosted TA22 Celica - dynoed at 203bhp at the rear wheels). Hmmm... I also remember destroying a diff, 2 gearboxes and one moter from over boosting it tongue

If i couldn't drive a honda you would see me tommorw out looking at old toyotas. Espically from the 80's when toyota laughed at the concept of front wheel drive in most of their compacts lol (so did nissian quite a bit). Ever hear of the 22r motor toyota had? my brother had one in his truck, it had 255,000 miles on it, rebuilt head off a celica, very little else. That little motor attached to the huge bed the truck had out back and its super wide tires...the thing could still chrip them if needed, either a hard shift into 2nd or if you jumped on it real hard in 1st, torque out the yang for a 4 banger. Might make a good project car for me someday, like a old celica supra or something cool lookin like that lol, its a really simple motor, eh, someday wink

Your guys are right..dang never thought about those older supra's and nissan's. I'm gonna take a real close look at some of these cars just to see how adaptable they would be.

I wonder what the F20C would feel like turbocharged? I imagine that would be a rush.

Well I confirmed it today, and even though it's still kinda speculation, the S2000 engine is worth about $2500-$3000 longblock with manifolds...and the whole engine, ECU, and Tranny are worth approximately $5000.

They do put these in older Toyota's and Nissans.
